Marketplace Transformation – From Minnesota to Hawaii to NY City

In a followup to the March 20, 2006 Herescope, The Apostolic Transformation Worldview, (http://tinyurl.com/gcd9x) the Apostolic Transformation Network (Ed Silvoso – Harvest Evangelism) just held a summit meeting in New York City last weekend. Some time before the event, Silvoso wrote an open memo to the members of the ATN inviting them and others of like passion to participate in process of “discipling nations” with the purpose of transforming the “marketplace capital of the planet.”

(You can read the entire memo here: http://tinyurl.com/rydtc)

Here are some excerpts:

“As a network we are committed to discipling nations by facilitating prototypes in cities and nations to see the Great Commission fulfilled in our generation. I am happy to report that, as amazing as this sounds, we are right on track.”

“We began the process to disciple a nation by faith in Argentina in 2003, right after she fell into social chaos and economic default. In 2004 our network held its first summit in Elk River, Minnesota, believing that our presence would energize the ongoing transformation and encourage our members. In 2005 we met in Hawaii for the same reasons.”

“When our journey as a network began back in 2003 in Colorado Springs, no one was intentionally and pro-actively involved in transforming nations. I shared then that I felt the Lord saying that if we accepted His challenge, within five years everybody would be talking about nation transformation.”

“By His grace, God has allowed us to hold the point and now, three years later, many are not just talking about it, they are fully involved in nation transformation.” [emphases mine]

Silvoso believes that the spiritual climate of the city has been changed dramatically in preparation for the final thrust through the use of warfare prayer and prayer walks (twice through every street in all five boroughs of New York City). (http://tinyurl.com/eq4oe)

“I firmly believe that now is the time for righteous people totally sold out to a heavenly cause to bring the power and presence of God to the heart of New York to transform the world.”

It is clear from this memo that through the use of Marketplace Apostles using the principles of Marketplace Transformation, the ATN will attempt to manipulate the worldview of believers and non-believers alike, for the sole purpose of discipling the nations city by city, state by state, country by country, to ultimately bring about global governance – economically, socially, politically, and spiritually.

The Truth:

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36)

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” (1 Corinthians 15:50)
