RESURRECTING PAGAN RITES

This three-part article series ran in The Christian Conscience magazine in December 2005, January 2006 and February 2006. At this time period Ed Tarkowski had a very active Internet discernment loop where Christian discerners from around the world were communicating their concerns about popular new movements in the evangelical world, including the laughing “revival” and Promise Keepers. We did a deep dive into the materials that were suggested reading for the men attending Promise Keepers events and were shocked at the indecency and unholiness. The graphic illustrations in these three articles show some of the offensive original source material of the pagan men’s movement that was extolled by Promise Keeper leaders.
