PEERING INTO THE PEERS

This article first appeared in the May, 1997 issue of The Christian Conscience magazine.  When we reviewed this test, which was being widely touted in the homeschooling community, we received special expertise from Steven Kossor, a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in Pennsylvania. Cynthia Weatherly, an education consultant, gave us additional research assistance. As time went on it became more apparent that the “worldview” that this testing instrument was assessing had to do with a Dominionist mindset, which was a significant sector of the homeschooling community in that era.
