“Dominionism and the Rise of Christian Imperialism” was an article that was solicited by a Leftist friend. She contacted me shortly before the Christmas holidays in 2005 asking me to explain to her the rise of the Christian Right — its beliefs and leaders. She was looking for a comprehensive and accurate report to counter negative stereotypes that were (and still are) prevalent in the mainstream media. With the help of Susan J. Conway, we put together a broad overview based on intensive research and what we also knew from our firsthand experiences. This article was published and thousands of copies were distributed for the next decade by Discernment Ministries, Inc. We continued the themes in this article on the Herescope blog thereafter.
